About Me
My name is Sergi Ribot and I sign my work as Space Rocket. I was born in Mallorca and grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals, riding the tractor with my grandfather and getting lost in the cornfields, always with my dolls and toys in tow.
I spent hours imagining, drawing and building a world of my own. That never left me: today I'm a graphic designer —I run a studio, Indigo Estudio— and I still invent worlds, now as surreal collage where the impossible turns strangely familiar.
I've always lived by the sea: it has been my refuge, my peace, my everything. The smell of pine trees in summer beside the sea is my favourite scent, and it's home. I'm now based in Bali, hopping from island to island, because travelling lets me widen my view and bring back new images.
My pieces often speak from nostalgia: childhood moments, deep memories, sensations, instants I never lived… or simply emotions rendered artistically. I like to think of each one as a message in a bottle drifting through time, with a little Pink Floyd, Hendrix and the seventies inside.
Every print is made to order on premium matte, museum-quality paper, and shipped from here to any corner of the world. If one of these images stops you for a second and makes you imagine, it has already done its job.
